André Lotterer, Kévin Estre e Laurens Vanthoor alla guida della Porsche 963 del team Penske Motorsport hanno vinto la 6 Ore del Fuji, disputatasi ieri. Dal quinto posto, la Porsche numero 6 ha disputato una gara di grande consistenza, tenendo a bada Toyota e BMW, in condizioni non sempre facili da interpretare.
Il terzo podio di Lotterer/Estre e Vanthoor ha assicurato all’equipaggio della Porsche un margine di 35 punti in classifica piloti.
In classe LMGT3, matematica vittoria in campionato della Porsche del Manthey PureRxcing, con Malykhin, Sturm e Bachler che si sono classificati al secondo posto dietro alla Ferrari di Flohr, Castellacci e Rigon: la Ferrari conquista così la sua prima vittoria in GT3 nel FIA-WEC.
Prossimo e ultimo appuntamento del Campionato del Mondo dal 31 ottobre al 2 novembre con la 8 Ore del Bahrein.
